Brooklyn Hikawai has had an exciting year on the netball court, earning her place in the Gisborne Under-16 Whero netball team and proudly representing her region in competitive tournaments.
Her season has taken her to three major tournaments, each one bringing together some of the strongest young players in the country. These events provided Brooklyn with the chance to push her limits, test her skills in high-intensity games, and learn from both her teammates and opponents.
Competing at this level is no easy task it requires dedication, discipline, and a commitment to regular training sessions. Brooklyn has risen to the challenge, showing resilience and determination every time she steps onto the court.
Her passion for netball continues to grow with every game, and she remains an inspiring example for other young players in our community who dream of playing at representative level.
